She specialises in civil, corporate and international litigation. Practice areas include contractual breach, property disputes, debt recovery, employment, admiralty, personal injury, trusts, contentious probate and estate matters, contentious insolvency, fraud, shareholder and corporate disputes, banking disputes, injunctive and discovery orders. She works with a client portfolio of local and foreign corporations and individuals from the major jurisdictions including Europe, the Far East and United States and stakeholders of the local financial sector including banks and trust corporations. In January 2018 she successfully resisted insolvency and receivership proceedings initiated by Russian interests against Maak International via settlement arrangements. In April 2018 Hazel-Ann closed on a $1.5 million dollar settlement in favour of and on behalf of Banco Popular and is currently working on another settlement in favour of another banking client which is worth over $1 million dollars. She has acted as lead advocate in labour arbitrations on behalf of local businesses including a local upper tier bank and a major local resort. During 2018 she also successfully defended a local proprietor before the Land Tribunal in a complex land dispute which spanned decades.
