Svetla Kacharova is managing partner at “Slavcheva and Kacharova” law firm. She focuses her practice on corporate law, pre-insolvency, and insolvency cases. On behalf of the law firm, she is a contributor on the national elements of the EBRD Business Reorganisation Assessment for 2021. As a post-graduate researcher in the field of insolvency and directors’ liability she finds that the academia approach is often the key for solving the most complex cases in the practice.

As a Chair of Board of Legal Association for Medical Law and Healthcare she is part of a distinguished team of specialists engaged in preparing statements on legislative proposals and finding optimal de lege lata solutions. The non-government organization, established in public interest, is actively supporting scientific legal research in the field of medical law and healthcare with a high level of academic legal expertise.
